Walkathon for Women’s Day – March 8, 2025

MVR Medical Centre, the official Health Partner for today’s Walkathon, played a vital role in promoting health and wellness. Our esteemed Medical Director, Dr. M.R. Vidhya, addressed the large gathering of women, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good health through positive lifestyle changes.

A dedicated medical team, including doctors and nurses, was on standby with an ambulance to ensure the safety of all participants. Er. C. Vassou delivered an inspiring speech, motivating everyone to embrace a healthier lifestyle.

The event was officially flagged off by Mr. Maran SP, alongside our Managing Director and other esteemed partners. The highlight of the event was the honoring of prize winners by Sri. Lakshminarayanan, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism and PWD, who also delivered an insightful Presidential Address.

The Walkathon was a grand success, celebrating the strength and well-being of women while reinforcing the importance of health and fitness in everyday life.

Free Medical Camp – March 8, 2025

M.V.R Medical Centre, in collaboration with T. Jayamoorthy Memorial Trust, Lions Club of Pondicherry Host, and Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, successfully organized a free medical camp in Thengaithittu.

As part of the initiative, comprehensive health screenings were conducted, including blood sugar, hemoglobin, blood pressure, and weight checks. A team of dedicated doctors, under the guidance of Dr. M.R. Vidhya, provided medical consultations and treatment to attendees.

In addition, free medicines were distributed through the generous support of Dr. M.V. Rajagopalan Memorial Trust and Sanjeevani Raksha Medical Research Foundation, ensuring better access to essential healthcare for the community.

The camp was a meaningful effort towards promoting health and well-being, reinforcing the commitment to accessible medical care for all.
